- 3 tsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)

- 1 tbsp rice syrup (or honey)
- 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- ½ cucumber, julienned
- ¼ green cabbage, thinly sliced

Boil a pot of water and cook the Udon noodles according to package instructions (about 5 minutes). Drain them and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking. Set aside.
