This sachet contains all the ingredients to make the broth for Sam Gye Tang soup, a rice, chicken, and herb soup.
It's a simple preparation, containing several roots and herbs that will go into the recipe for this delicious, very fragrant and comforting soup, traditionally made with ginseng.
How to prepare Samgyetang soup with this sachet:
Put the contents of the sachet in a large pot with 1.5 to 2 liters of water and a few cloves of garlic and bring the mixture to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and continue cooking for about 10 minutes.
Then add the poultry of your choice and continue cooking for about 40 minutes over medium heat, covered.
Serve hot with rice.
For a variation, you can also stuff the poultry with 150 grams of pre-washed short-grain rice and add fresh ginseng.
