Artisanal tangerine vinegar made from tangerines harvested on Jeju Island.
Product Description and Manufacturing Process
This tangerine vinegar is made exclusively from tangerines from Jeju Island, South Korea. Each step of the process is carried out traditionally, ensuring superior quality.
Harvesting the tangerines: Jeju farmers harvest ripe, bright yellow tangerines from trees carefully tended throughout the year.
Pressing and cooking: The tangerine juice is extracted, then slowly concentrated in terracotta pots in a warm environment. This cooking process develops a natural sweetness.
Fermentation and maturation: The concentrated juice is then fermented in terracotta pots for over 500 days, giving it a thick texture and unique sweet flavor, while developing its richness of flavors. Each 270 ml bottle contains the equivalent of 22 concentrated tangerines.
How to use Tangerine Vinegar:
It is a concentrated product with a thick texture, a delicious balsamic and citrus flavor.
- Drinks : Mix one part tangerine vinegar with five parts mineral or sparkling water for a refreshing and sweet drink. You can also add it to milk for a creamy beverage.
- Vinaigrette and sauces: Combine this vinegar with olive oil for a light and fruity vinaigrette. It is also suitable as a sauce for sandwiches or meat dishes.
- Ponzu for shabu-shabu: Mix one part vinegar with five parts soy sauce for a ponzu sauce ideal for dishes like tofu, fatty meats, or seafood.
- Seasoning for Poke Bowl or raw fish plates: ideal for its taste and thick texture on a Poke Bowl with avocado or slices of raw fish (sea bream, salmon, scallops).
