Discover our fermented Korean plum syrup, also known as Maesil Cheong in Korea. This syrup is made from green plums harvested in May, pressed, and then fermented for 2 years.

The fermentation of this juice gives the syrup a very balanced acidity, making this product a true delight for the taste buds.

How to enjoy your Maesil Cheong?

You can dilute it in iced water, tea, or an herbal infusion to add a delicious fruity and tangy taste.

It can be used as a replacement for sugar or honey in many Korean or Western recipes. It's perfect for glazing braised or grilled meats. It's a key ingredient for making bibimguksu sauce (spicy cold noodles).

You can also cleverly replace vinegar in your salad dressings for less acidic but equally flavorful preparations!

Last favorite: One part syrup to five parts iced sparkling water!
