This sesame oil, roasted in Korea by Bangyudang from carefully selected seeds, develops a deep and round toasted aroma — what Koreans call goh-soh, the quintessential toasted flavor. 100% sesame, amber color, well-defined character.
How to use this sesame oil?
It is used as a finishing oil, never for cooking. A few drops on bibimbap, seasoned spinach, or a bowl of white rice are enough to completely change the dimension of the dish. Beyond Korean cuisine, it naturally integrates into many everyday dishes. On grilled fish — sea bass, sea bream, or bluefin tuna — it adds a toasted note. In a vinaigrette with a dash of rice vinegar, it enhances a green bean or cucumber salad. In baking, a few drops in a financier or madeleine batter add an unexpected depth. On yogurt ice cream or a scoop of vanilla, it's a classic combination at Bangyudang.
