This perilla oil is the lightest in the Bangyudang range. Produced from carefully selected and pressed perilla seeds in Korea, it retains the plant's natural aroma—a subtle herbaceous note, similar to shiso, with a slight vegetal flavor. Rich in omega-3, 100% perilla, available in 100ml and 200ml.
How to use this perilla oil
Unlike other oils in the range, it can withstand gentle cooking. It is ideal for sautéing fried eggs or cooking jeons—Korean pancakes made with vegetables, seafood, or meat. Its natural flavor pairs well with simple ingredients without overpowering them. As a finishing touch, a few drops on steamed vegetables, white fish, or a cucumber salad are enough. Mixed with doenjang, it forms a simple and flavorful dip for raw vegetables or fish. Outside of Korean cuisine, it complements raw vegetables, fish carpaccios, or a light vinaigrette.About Bangyudang
