Discover Beksul's sweet Korean pancake (Hotteok) mix, a staple of Korean patisserie. Easy to prepare, these pancakes filled with a sweet filling (usually brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts) are a true institution in Korea, enjoyed as a snack or a convivial dessert. Instructions for use:
Basic preparation:
- Mix 180 ml of lukewarm water (25~30 °C) with the pancake mix and yeast included in the package. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
- Oil your hands, and divide the dough into 8 balls. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each ball, close tightly by sealing the edges.
- Heat a lightly oiled pan over low heat. Place the Hotteok in the pan, seam side down, cook until golden, flip them over and flatten slightly with a spatula. Continue cooking until both sides are evenly browned.
Gourmet suggestions:
Add sesame seeds, crushed nuts, or dried fruits to the filling for an even richer texture. You can also serve with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup for extra indulgence.

Filling: Brown sugar, peanut powder, glucose, wheat flour, cinnamon powder, sunflower oil, molasses, caramel color (E150d).
Instant dry yeast: Dry yeast, sorbitan stearate.
