Here is the instant Vegan preparation cube for kimchi. This rehydratable cube is made from natural ingredients and will allow you to easily prepare the marinade for your kimchi with the vegetables of your choice in less than 5 minutes.

Kimchi, often made from napa cabbage, is probably the most iconic ingredient in Korean cuisine.

For busy cooks, this rehydratable cube is a great alternative to making your own kimchi marinade.

These preparation cubes are suitable for a Vegan diet, as they are not made from anchovy sauce and therefore do not contain fish.

Instructions for use:

This package contains 2 cubes of 30 grams, allowing you to make kimchi for 2 napa cabbages of about 800g.

Here is the recipe for preparing kimchi with one 30-gram cube:

• Take one 800-gram napa cabbage.
• Cut the cabbage into strips 2 to 3 cm wide, perpendicular to the cabbage fibers.
• In a salad bowl, mix 1 liter of water, 120 grams of salt, then add the cut cabbage.
• Mix the cabbage pieces in the brine every 15 minutes 4 times (for one hour of soaking in total).
• Rinse the cabbage pieces twice with clear water, then drain the pieces.
• Rehydrate the instant kimchi cube in 120 ml of water and let it rest for 5 minutes.
• Mix the cabbage in this sauce, coating all the pieces.
• You can enjoy the cabbage immediately or let the preparation ferment for 1 day at room temperature in a sealed jar, before refrigerating it.
• The peak of fermentation will occur after 14 days.

You can also use this preparation with other vegetables: daikon radish, chives, tomatoes...
