This product will allow you to quickly and easily make a delicious traditional Korean dashi broth, a basic broth for many Korean preparations.
The package contains 8 sachets of 16g to make approximately 600 ml of dashi per sachet, which is about 5 liters of dashi for the entire package.
It's the perfect ingredient to make a very good dashi broth in 10 minutes.
This dashi is made from 3 natural ingredients exclusively from South Korea: anchovies, kombu seaweed, shiitake mushrooms.
The anchovies were fished in the sea of Tongyeong, in southeastern Korea, well known for the quality of its waters. They were gutted before drying to remove any bitterness. They will bring a delicious umami flavor to the broth. The kombu seaweed will give depth to the broth. The shiitake mushrooms, meanwhile, will bring a delicious earthy flavor.
Instructions for use:
Count approximately 600 ml of dashi per sachet.
Boil water, and immerse the sachet. Let it infuse at a low boil for about ten minutes.
Use this dashi for your soups, and of course for Korean recipes that require the use of dashi (and there are many). It is useful in recipes that require diluting doenjang in a broth (doenjang Jjigae for example). You will also need it in some recipes where this dashi needs to be thickened with rice flour, for homemade kimchi for example.
The contribution of dashi is very important to give depth and length to these recipes.

Storage:
Before opening, store your package in a dry and cool place, away from light. After opening, store in the refrigerator.
